Terms of Service

Shift is provided by us subject to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not download or use the app.

Shift is a self-contained word puzzle game. You may play Shift without creating an account or signing in. Shift is intended for personal, non-commercial use, and you agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, redistribute, or resell the app or its content.

Shift offers an optional feature that lets you save your game progress to the cloud using Google Play Games. Signing in is not required to play Shift. If you choose to sign in, your use of Google Play Games is also subject to Google's own terms of service, and any account or progress data associated with the sign-in is managed by Google as described in our Privacy Policy.

Shift may offer optional in-app purchases, such as removing ads or unlocking extra content. All purchases are processed by the platform you downloaded the game from — Google Play Billing or the Amazon Appstore — and are subject to that platform's own payment terms and refund policies. We do not process payments directly and cannot issue refunds ourselves; refund requests should go through Google Play or Amazon.

Shift displays advertising through Google AdMob. Ads are subject to Google's advertising policies, and your use of Shift constitutes acceptance of ads being shown as part of the app experience.

Shift is designed to be suitable for a general audience, including children, consistent with our COPPA compliance described in the Privacy Policy. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you should review these terms with a parent or guardian.

Shift, including its design, gameplay, artwork, and branding, is owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the app — only a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use it for its intended purpose.

Shift is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of defects.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, Shift.

You may stop using Shift at any time by uninstalling the app. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue Shift, in whole or in part, at any time.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. If we make changes, this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the change. Continuing to use Shift after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
